It was so nice to take picture sith the girls at the beach in front of my parents house.

Daddy walking me down the aisle.

I loved the back of my dress, it sure did sparkle with all those sequins...and was very heavy!

My 81 year old grandmother Ofelia came all the way from Portugal for the wedding. She was quite the party animal!

The kiwi dresses looked amazing with the tangerine and hot pinkflowers. Anna at The White Bouquet did an amazing job. I loved my bouquet of orchids

The cake was not only good looking but also yummy! It was from Amazing cakes in Lakeville, Ma., fluffy white cake with raspberry filling and lemon flavored frosting! We froze the top layer and at Thanksgiving defrosted it. I didn't want to wait a full year becaues 1. it could have freezer burn by then. and 2. I needed the space in my freezer!
It was a wonderful day, and of course there were a few little details that didn't go according to plan...things that now I may have changed. It does go by fast and as much as everyone says you need to take time and enjoy a few moments alone...I wish I had spent more time with my guests. I feel like I didn't get to mingle with everyone...OK, so maybe 256 people is a few to many people to mingle with in such a short time...but I should have spent the cocktail hour in the ballroom and take full advantage of the martini fountain. I also seem to have missed out on A LOT of shots the the bridal party apparently consumed! That's OK next time we go out, I'm making everyone of them buy me an honorary bridal drink!
